LF3 Licence

Any athlete wishing to join the BTC must obtain a license from the LF3: Ligue Francophone de Triathlon.

Let's come to the importance of requiring a license. In addition to the fact that the league organizes events (races, clinics, education sessions, access to the Mettet circuit), you are covered by an accident insurance.

The accident insurance covers you during training and competitions all year round (whether supervised or not, in Belgium and abroad - worldwide and even on vacation).

It includes :

  • Personal Accident insurance: reimbursement of expenses not covered by the mutual health insurance company.
  • Civil liability insurance: covers damage caused to a third party, not to the athlete's equipment.

Competition rules and regulations

Athletes wishing to take part in competitions must first familiarise themselves with the rules currently in force.

These rules are published on the LF3 website

Doping

The NADO (National Anti-Doping Organisation) publishes exhaustive information on doping-related issues for amateur and professional athletes in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation on its website .

Happy reading and have a good season!
